Dr. Kati Duncan (fomerly Lynch)
Dr. Kati Duncan (formerly Lynch) received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. She completed her internship and residency training in neuropsychology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She specializes in pre-surgical assessment for individuals pursuing bariatric surgery, therapy for depression and anxiety, and assessment of learning and attention disorders.
Dr. Barbara Haskins
Dr. Barbara Haskins received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. She completed her internship at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and postdoctoral training at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth. Since earning her degree, she has provided clinical services and supervised other mental health professionals within a military setting. As a psychologist, Dr. Haskins witnessed positive change in patients coping with addiction, stress related symptoms due to combat and sexual trauma, sleep related issues, and problems adjusting to new environments. Other settings in which she has worked include inpatient local and state hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community based agencies. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and is licensed as a clinical psychologist in the state of Virginia. In her clinical practice, she delivers interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral therapy to adults with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, depression, relational, and occupational stress. In addition to therapy, Dr. Haskins also provides testing for AD/HD and conducts disability determination evaluations.
Dr. Dana Sari
Dr. Dana Sari is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Drexel University in Philadelphia. She completed her internship and residency training in neuropsychology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She specializes in neuropsychological assessment of adults and the elderly. Evaluations include testing for brain injury/concussions, stroke, seizure disorders, dementias and other brain-related conditions causing difficulty with thinking and reasoning skills. Dr. Sari also conducts pre-surgical screenings for bariatric surgery (i.e gastric bypass, gastric sleeve and lapband).
Cheryl Lumbard MSN, FNP-C, ARNP, PMH RN-BC
Cheryl graduated from Old Dominion University in 2000 with a Master of Science degree in Nursing, major Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been a RN for over 35 years practicing in the critical care specialty. She has primarily practiced in the psychiatric mental health specialty as a NP for the past 13 years providing medication management to children, adolescents and adults. Cheryl also has experience in addiction rehab, pain management and cardiology as a NP. Cheryl truly has a passion for the mental health field and believes that she receives as much as she gives!
Dr. Cynthia L. Kokoris
Dr. Kokoris is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia. She holds a Master’s (M.A.) and Doctoral degree (Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology from Regent University. She provides pre-bariatric assessments here at Assessment & Therapy Associates.
Dr. Lynette Rushing
Dr. Rushing conducts interviews and assessments for Disability Determination Services for the offices of Assessment & Therapy.
